oh look, it's that time of year when i blow the dust off my livejournal and write my yuletide santa letter! hello yuletide santa! hope everything is going well with you :)
Broadly - i generally enjoy funny stuff for yuletide. nothing, like, x-rated or anything.
Dishonoured: Me: I enjoy comedy. Also me: *requests something scary* Can I have something spooky with the heart please? I know I didn't request Corvo specifically, but he is welcome here too! Some kind of insight into what it's thinking - high chaos, low chaos, whatever you like. Obviously Dishonored 2 isn't out as I'm writing this, but if you've played it by the time you come to write the story - feel free to include stuff from there too!
KOTOR I: I love KOTOOOOR. I really do. So - dark side pre-game Revan and Malak! (I am never getting over the fact that Revan programmed HK47 to irritate him). Mandalorian wars pre game gang! Has-Revan-Fallen-To-The-Dark-Side-Or-Is-S he-Just-Being-Pragmatic? moments! During the game, Bastila watching Revan for signs of Old Revan resurfacing (lightsaber style...hair...favourite food?). (I guess I kinda ship canderous/revan? a bit? idk it really does not need to be romantic).
KOTOR II: I'm pretty open to anything here (I will admit to a having a bit of a soft spot for Atton/Exile) - something set prior to the game's start after the exile has been...uh, exiled. Or after it ends? What does Bao-Dur go and do? And Mira? Or Exile having big massive fight with atton somewhere in the middle? I think reading about them going at it would be entertaining.
(Oh and if you want to mix up the KOTOR I + II prompts and write me some revan + exile interactions (mandalorian wars, post kotor ii, whatever) that would be cool too. I've not played the old republic or read any of the books, so whatever happens after KOTOR II, canon-wise is Extremely Flexible as far as I'm concerned ;))

Ok, so Okami is set in a sorta magical version of medieval Japan. The amnesiac granddaughter of a bamboo seller just got into a spaceship in a 'my planet needs me' moment.
I...I really have to say I didn't quite see that one coming.
(I totally called Priestess Rue being evil, though. I TOLD Amaterasu not to give her the fox scrolls, but would she listen? Nooooo.)
Also, the teletext thing which talks about games mentioned the possibility of a Burning Rangers update. The internet seems not to be confirming this and I am heartbroken.

I'm going to annoy the heck out of everyone in my house, because I just bought myself a dance mat and a Dance Dance Revolution game. Had to pick it up on amazon, as apparently I'm so late to the trend that they don't even sell them in shops anymore.

I finally, finally got around to buying the utterly gorgeous Midnight in Moscow nail polish that I posted a picture of a while back. It should arrive some time next week :D.
Since I'm incapable of just buying the one thing, I also got Ink and Dominant Jeans (heh, Dominant? Genes? Geddit?) which are both rather lovely shimmery blue colours. Whilst I was in Preston today, I picked up another blue polish (I'm not obsessed!) by Barry M, which is sort of shimmery blue with silver sparkles, and is very pretty indeed. I will probably spend tomorrow doing my nails and nothing else.
In other news, I seem to have lost my hairbrush (again). It hasn't been seen since Wednesday, and I'm starting to panic, here!

JASPER FFORDE IS SIGNING BOOKS AT MANCHESTER WATERSTONES!! IT IS SOLD OUT AND I WANTED TO GO!! WAAAAAAAAHHH!!
(Seriously, who knew you had to book ahead for this kind of thing?)
[Also Gemma I got your text, and will reply when it is a reasonable hour of the day to be sending things to people's phones. I keep forgetting that the world does not run on Gillian Time.]

I have, apparently, won a PRIZE! I have no idea what the prize is or anything, but Bangor tells me I have won it.
It doesn't even say why, but hey, who am I to turn down the possibility of book tokens?

Now that we are all certified, degree holding geniuses, we should get together for lunch or dinner style celebrations sometime.
Also, note to world, this insomnia thing whereby I can't get to sleep until the sun comes up, no matter what time I get up in the morning? SO NOT ON. I'm TIRED. I WANT TO GO TO SLEEP. D:

I just made the best cupcakes ever. So tasty. So very tasty.
Also, if the weather brightens up one day I want to go to the beach. I was watching Coast and was hit by a sudden urge to be by the seaside, then remembered how miserable the weather is and was horribly disappointed.
I want the Midnight in Moscow nail polish here:

so very much. Black, but with a red shimmer to it, how pretty is that? No idea if/when it will make its way over to here, though. I could spend a fortune on nail polish, seriously. The amount that I own is obscene. I keep losing them, too (I pack them away in little pockets when I move, then they vanish), so I have about four deep reds, a couple of blacks, and a wide range of 'oooh, I didn't know they made THAT colour' types. I even have a lime green one somewhere, though I've no clue what happened to it (actually, I have two!).
I really dig the super glittery ones by Barry M, but they're a pain to take off once you're bored. I need to stop looking at OPI's range, or I'll start buying them. I really don't need another red! Especially not one called 'the tazmanian devil made me do it!'
